The design inspiration behind the Johnson is an amalgamation of 4 Cali-centric lifestyle shoes, from all ends of the subculture spectrum.  Funneled down into a cohesive, unique silhouette that emanates a classic, timeless simplicity.  Our initial offering is constructed of suede and nubuck leathers, with a JAGS-embossed gumsole, and vulcanized sole for the sake of comfort.  Accented with a silver top lace-hole and tonal foxing.

Benny Gold: The epitome of DIY. If you haven't heard of him. He is a mainly freelance designer whom deals mainly with identities. Creating an image or symbol that encompasses meaning and ethos of his clients. His portfolio contains a long list with many character in the "industry" of brands we carry or follow. He does all the designing, sourcing, contacting, accounting....EVERYTHING, literally a 1 man show. With a signature brand, comes scrutiny to detail. With this running of the show, he even checks merchandise production for quality control, and packs/ships all the items to accounts himself. WOW! If you don't believe me. Explore his website. I follow it daily. Check his resume, it speaks for itself. We are glad to welcome him to our family of brands.

One of the outstanding pieces in his fall lineup that I want to highlight is the following.

The hats are done in limited run of 100 pieces and crafted from a vintage ticking fabric. The quality is amazing. Check the gold detailing of the side vents and the gold metallic lurex thread. The hats are produced through the same source that produce Supreme and Huf 5-panels, ensuring premium fit. The inside lining and headband are black to keep a clean look even if after some dirt. GOLD.

in other news. it seems many peoples favorite artist hopped on supras, heavy, wearing 3 different pairs throughout the night at the vma awards, including a friends and family Vaider, where only 29 pairs were made for the 29th birthday of Pete Wentz, of falloutboy fame. Check pictures.
