So this dude comes in the shop the other night with his son. Cute kid by the way. Dude and I talked for a while and we vibed. He's from San Fran, a DJ, has residencies all up and down the left coast. Names Omar Herrara but goes by JahRocker. Tells me that he's into spinnin all these cumbio instrumental mashups with 80's and pretty much all the good music you can think of underr the sun since then! Syas he's gonna drop off some tapes. Dude comes through yesterday and drops off a disc but its got 13 HOURS OF DOPE TRACKS ON IT! So, you know where I'm at today. Feelin great a little sick but good music always helps!

Oh and he tells me that all the Mexicans in LA are crazy about Morrissey.... WHAT?!?!?!?! (he picked up the Morrissfits shirt!)hahahaha

Just got the word from Jeff that he spoke to Burd from Bootleg Sessions. He saw the footage from the weekend and wants us to film a segment for Mpls!!! YEEEAAHHHH BUDDDYYY!!!

Last night was epic. A great way to spend a Holloween.Get 50+ bikers under the 94 overpass to compete in some tricks contests, trackstands contests, sprints..... and the RACE!!

Jesse, the Dark Horse, came outta nowhere and took the prize for tricks. Shit I really thought I had this one in the bag but as they told me. You can't walk in with the prize and walk out with it hahaha. But serisouly the kid deserved it. Fuckin flatland 180's and foot stalls on the electric boxes.... shhhhheeeeiiiiitttttt Dude pulled a fast one on Clay Davis! haha.

As for the race. I rolled the tubular off my hed-3 during a crash at the bottleneck in the beginning of the race. Debated weather or not I should keep going and was like FUCK IT. Yanked that shit back on with my bare hands!! A fully pumped tubular runnin 110 psi and I rolled that shit back on. Adrenaline is a muthafucka haha. Took a couple of minutes but started mashin to make up for lost time. I think the crash gave me extra incentive to ride hard. High cadence through 1st and and Hennepic ave traffic at 11pm on holloween night is no joke. Mad focsed reading the crazy amount of variables in traffic (drunks party goers, drunk drivers, mad cabbies, cops on bikes, cops on horses, and even a recumbent!! wtf?!?!) At every stop I'm like how far behind? How far behind haha. Did the finished the first manifest about 5 mnutes behind the lead. During the second they're telling me that I'm making up time. Had a white rabbit about a block in front of me to keep me going (seriously a dude in a white rabbit costume haha). Pacing behind him trying to keep my cadence consistent everytime he takes a turn I squinted my eyes to make sure I wasn't falling behind. Finally make a run for it at the second to last stop. but a small wrong turn made it for naught. Final stretch to the last stop and I'm like fuck it. Start pushing like there and beat him to the finish line. Came in 45 seconds behind first..... hahaha. oh well thats how the shit goes. Fun F'in race! Can't wait till next year!!! No equipment failures this time! Although, I don't think would have had as strong of a run if I hadn't crashed!!
