Jeremiah, the founder of Hold Fast Straps, was in town last night and came to Tricks and Drinks last night and hooked us up with some Hold Fast Straps. If you’re unfamiliar they’re the newest foot retention systems on the market. They’re like power grips but they never go limp and slack. They hold their form and shape. I’ve ridden one for a day now and so far so good. I’m pretty sure that we’ll start carrying them in store soon. I’ll write a review soon and keep people posted. Speaking of which…I’ve ridden a lot of different components and frame so I’m thinking about starting a blog that reviews different products that I’ve tried. What do ya think?!?! I guess it’s been a long time coming but it’s finally done. We gave Mike Carney a blog space on our page to chronical his trials and tribulations of being a sponsored FGFS rider. Trust me kids its not as fun as its made out to be…. CHECK IT OUT HERE!!!!

We’ve just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We’re told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We’re told one of the staff members at Jackson’s home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.
